The China Yunnan Gold Competition Grade is a very different Yunnan. Light bodied due the preponderance of golden tips but with such elegant complexity this tea offers quiet depth of character. Our tea tasting team relished every sip and were quick to brew a pot for the office. It has a golden coppery cup color, notes of fruit and a touch of smokiness. Gently sweet with no astringency. Rare and beautiful.
Tips: Use 1 level tsp. per 6 oz. cup; heat fresh water to a roaring boil; let steep for 3-4 min. Try with some rock sugar.
